Mazagran is thenew project by Giulio Iacchetti, an artist capable of translating into form what a certain context requires. In the natural world, the birth of new plant or animal forms is linked to the evolution of species; the artist believes that an analogous situation occurs in the industrial world: thus he recognizes in the world of coffee he recognizes the formal primacy of the Bialetti moka, or two opposing truncated-conical shapes. Mazagran's design starts exactly from this shining reference: thus an hourglass shape with a circular section is born, which widens from the base and at the apex and has a reduced size at the waist. This design lends itself perfectly to the method of preparing cold coffee: the funnel shape lends itself perfectly to pouring the water that percolates into the filter placed along the axis of the container. The equally wide base ensures stability to the jug which is particularly slender and slender and designed, in size, to be inserted in the bottle compartment of the refrigerator, so as to keep our cold coffee at the right temperature.
