Jaime Hayon is a designer who is certainly known for his imagination and desire to bring his magical world into the designs he creates. In this case, Hayon creates a beautiful carpet which, at first glance, reveals a chaotic tangle of colours and shapes. However, after looking closely, Jaime Hayon's imagination comes to life: turtles, lips, hands, stools, fish, half man - half bird. Hayon subtly introduces colour through small elements brimming with personality, which help interpret each image. Nami x Hayon is a carpet created using a special technique, that of manual tufting, where a manually operated gun injects pieces of wool, resulting in intuitive and fluid lines and an organic composition.
