The Balloton collection was born from the creativity of Federico De Majo, a versatile designer interested in multiple techniques. For the realization of this collection, the artist uses the application of a typical Venetian processing. Through the blowing of the incandescent paste inside a special lozenge mold, the glasses assume the classic facets defined "balloton". For the realization of the structure of the glass instead, it has been used the "flying hand" technique. The expression "flying hand" indicates the agile and expert movement of the craftsman's hand in the hot working of a fine glass.
