Inspired by traditional games, full of memory and nostalgia, Pirolo is a collection of glasses and bottles in borosilicate glass. Designed by Federico De Majo for the Zafferano brand, the Pirolo line stands out for its very particular design and the extraordinary quality and preciousness of the materials. The shape of the glass is inspired by the spinning top: a small protruding element on the bottom allows it to rotate on itself and to rest obliquely on the table. The bottles, on the other hand, have an evocative teardrop shape and are fitted with special stoppers inspired by the silhouettes of chess pieces. All pieces of the Pirolo line are made of handcrafted borosilicate glass, an extremely refined material known for its qualities of resistance to temperature changes and its low coefficient of expansion.
