Brionvega has its roots in Italian design, making use of the best designers of the time such as: Marco Zanuso, Mario Bellini, Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni, Richard Sapper, Ettore Sottsass, Hannes Wettstein, and having as common denominator only one noble end, that of making the emotion a project. The company was founded by Giuseppe Brion and english Leone Pajetta back in 1945 with the name of B.P.M. (Brion Pajetta Milano) starting its industrial path by producing electronic components. But it was only in 1963 that the company, definitively changing its company name to Brionvega, became a distinctive brand in the world, a symbol of high quality, creativity and innovation, creating products with an emotional shape exhibited in several international museums such as the MoMA in New York, the Sao Paulo Museum of Modern Art, the Osaka Museum of Modern Art. The evolutionary path of Brionvega was crowned in 1970 with the highest recognition of industrial design, the Compasso d'Oro which is awarded for having wanted to impress, in most of its production, a high level of quality and for having wished to make use of the work of the best Italian designers, achieving in many cases results of considerable cultural value in terms of design at an international level.
