Alessi Kastor sharpener

With this project, the author the sharp lines of “Chip”, the magnetic paper cli holder, made in 2009. Kastor, how the name says, this object seems like a castor that will chew your pencils. In the head, the castor has a sharpener. The two parts of the body close together and the lid in thermoplastic, allows you to empty it and to maintain clean the table. Kastor has been studied in detail: eyes, teeth, paws and tail all contribute to defining the animal’s form. Kastor is practical and easy to use: by placing the pencil in the beaver’s mouth, you can sharpen it with extreme ease thanks to the sharpener located inside.
