Water Tower designed by Daniel Libeskind for Alessi is a micro-architecture, designed for him close friend Aldo Rossi, the Milanese architect who is an assiduous investigator of the dialectical relationship between urban planning and the domestic landscape. "Water Tower" is a container inspired by the "water tanks", the water tanks that characterize the roofs of New York skyline. The concentric rings along the body of the container, the pointed lid and the articulated base structure reproduce in minute detail the large tanks that distinguish the landscape of the American city. A sophisticated and complex object, ensuing from the manufacturing skills acquired by the engineers at the factory in Crusinallo, Omegna. Unique objects in its kind, that can be a functional element to serve water and also a piece of furniture. What are you waiting for? Choose a piece of furniture, so choose Water Tower!
