Brezel is an armchair in steam-bent beech wood. It was designed in Vienna, Austria and is one of the most popular chairs. The chair was first created in 1819 and has been used in many different environments, from homes to offices to cafés. The Brezel armchair was born from the thought of the creative duo Lucidi and Pevere to enrich the spaces of the house with its playful, fun, interesting and versatile presence.‎ The wooden structure is enriched by elegant decorative elements in bent beech that define the profile of the backrest with an amusing reference to the pretzel.‎ The upholstered version is available in two solutions: with covering of the seat only, or of the seat and the internal part of the backrest in the fabrics in the catalogue.‎ Gebrüder Thonet Vienna has started to produce this type of furniture in 1828, so he knows his stuff!
