Extension of the homonymous bookcase designed by Fabio Novembre in 2017 and inspired by the crates used in museums for the transport of statues Venus is now also a sideboard made with 25 mm wood fiber panels and 45 bevels. The front part is made up of two hinged doors and movable internal shelf plus two full-extension drawers and a push-pull system for opening the doors and drawers. Venus sideboard made of natural sawn-effect oak, support elements of the shelves in solid oak and sculpture in white recomposed marble. A real work of art, with a strong scenographic impact, able to give a mystical style to your furniture. The statue reproduces the goddess Venus, the female beauty par excellence and this splendid sideboard together with its bookcase wants to celebrate its mythical greatness and iconicity. Canova imagined her Venus surprised in her intimacy, and gave her a marble veil to escape prying eyes. Fabio Novembre wanted to add a wooden architecture to be inserted in her body to camouflage it between words and things.
