Canova imagined his Venus surprised in her intimacy, and gave her a marble veil to escape prying eyes. Fabio Novembre wanted to add an architecture of wooden shelves up to the most intimate parts of her body to camouflage her among words and things. A four-handed work, realized in different times, by two Italians very sensitive to the feminine beauty par excellence: Venus. And that's exactly what the Venere bookcase is, a combination of elegance, mythicism and timeless sculptural design. Presented at the Salone del Mobile in 2017 in Milan, Venus is the bookcase that will always be the protagonist in any decor, thanks to its imposing height (a good 190 cm) and its superfine elegance.
