From time to time he carries out studies on materials and techniques for the development of his projects, whose recurring theme is irony supported by functionality. Conceived in 2004 by Andrea Branciforti, Improntabarre today is a studio and a design laboratory, which collaborates with a network of craftsmen in the production of high quality products. Selected by the ADI Design Permanent Observatory for publication in the ADI Design Index 2015 with the Urban design for tile project. He is a member of the ADI Handmade in Italy thematic commission.
