The Feuilles transparent crystal salt grinder is a splendid and elegant creation by Lalique in collaboration with Peugeot in 1924. Embracing the industrial era at the beginning of the 19th century (1840) with the steel industry, Peugeot launched its first coffee grinder in 1840, followed by pepper mills and salt grinders. It was not until 1886 that Peugeot began manufacturing bicycles, motorcycles, and cars, sectors for which they are more famous today. The body of the salt grinder is sculpted from crystal that captures and reflects light, bringing out every detail of the "Feuilles" design. The pattern features delicately carved leaves that wrap around the exterior of the product in an organic spiral. Peugeot's grinding mechanisms carry a lifetime guarantee.
