In Attesa waste paper basket is one of the most important projects of the master Enzo Mari. This object, designed in 1971, is one of the examples of the fusion between formal and functional research that has always existed in Mari's works. It is a paper basket, in the shape of a tube end that protrudes, inclined, from the floor on which it is placed. The name, "In Attesa", refers to the specific function of the basket, which awaits the launch of paper balls towards its inclined mouth.
