On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the illy Art Collection project in 2022, Biennale Curator Cecilia Alemani selects 6 special and different artists from all over the world for the creation of the illy Art Collection presented at the Venice Biennale, of which Illy is the Main sponsor. The choice of having 6 artists participating in the Biennale allows the Illy brand not to have a single testimonial, but to emphasize the collaboration with the Biennale, the most famous contemporary art event in the world, and therefore to highlight its relationship with the 'art. Artists such as Felipe Baeza, Giulia Cenci, Precious Okoyomon, Alexandra Pirici, Aki Sasamoto and Cecilia Vicuña were chosen to decorate the Illy cups in this special event. While focusing on an iconic object such as that of the illy cup, each of them has been able to interpret the object according to their own conception of art, modeling it on their own imagination. Illy Art Collection Biennale 2022 offers espresso cups and cappuccino cups and are available in sets of 6 and sets of 2. The product is delivered complete with original box and each piece is numbered and signed by the relative artist.
