Degli Stracci cucù clock inspired by the work "Venus of the Rags" of the artist Michelangelo Pistoletto, in the late 1960s that nowadays is displayed in Madre Museum of Naples. Pistoletto overturned the classical and secure idea of beauty by associating it with chaotic and disordered elements. “Arte Povera” e playful provocation are the ingredients of this clock. The white plastic bird, which emulates Venus Pistoletto, instead, is pressing a mountain of rags piled up into a case made of glass – one of the most classic and noble materials. The orgy of colours creates a visual oxymoron of contrasting sensations and unexpected combinations. Domeniconi creates clocks, which emulate contemporary work arts, taking inspiration from techniques and sculptures.
