Martin cucù clock with pendulum made of burnt lamellar fir frame. It has a wood home-shaped and a little bird that comes out the frame. The hands of the clock seems to be light and silent, almost invisible. Available in burnt color, this clock is the perfect mix of elegance and convenience. Designed and made by Bramasangue and Marco Braccini for Domeniconi.
Martin cucù clock with pendulum is named after the Dutch designer Maarten Bass, famous for his series of burnt furniture. The central element of the idea is the house, a symbol of security and shelter. A place in which the bourgeois tradition seeks protection, now converted into a space to be anarchically set on fire to leave the nest. The immaculate bird takes flight to abandon those walls charred by family custom — a unique, handcrafted project synthesis of freedom and play. Domeniconi creates clocks, which emulate contemporary work arts, taking inspiration from techniques and sculptures. The suggestion is to take time to discover, to fell and listen to yourself, to lose yourself just to find it again.
