Sober lines and an abstract design: these are the distinctive features of the Cadmo LED lamp, born from the creative mind of the Egyptian-born designer, Karim Rashid, who emphasizes the fluid movement and precision of the light. The steel that covers the body of the lamp is folded in such a way as to assume the shape of a cylinder, with large openings both on the lower and upper part that allow a pleasant warm white light to filter through. Cadmo develops vertically so as to take up little space but illuminate it with the right light, so there are no limits to the imagination and you can place it wherever you want, from the living area to the sleeping area, creating an intimate and welcoming atmosphere. Rashid's goal is to create a design that is inclusive and democratic, and his works take a close look at the everyday objects we encounter, questioning why they exist and how they could be redesigned to create a better scenario.
