ex-Tr is a collection of lamps designed by Franco Raggi for the Firmamento Milano brand, which includes pendant, floor, wall and table versions. All the lamps are characterized by the same transparent ribbed extruded glass, which multiplies the light of the LED strips. The ex-Tr collection was born from the intuition of architect Franco Raggi, who developed his own project from the 1990s. LED strips are used in such a way that the punctiform effect of the light they emit, which is dazzling and in some cases even disturbing, is canceled not by the use of screens or filters, but on the contrary by the almost infinite multiplication of the effect itself . This result is achieved by using a transparent ribbed extruded glass which multiplies the light as if it were a container of four LED strips. Light thus manifests itself as a cheerful, playful, fun presence, with multiple facets, but also as an extremely essential and functional source of lighting. The structure of the lamps is in painted metal, available in different colours, which supports the glass with a cable adjustable in length. The lamps also have a touch switch integrated into the structure or cable, which allows you to turn the light on and off with a simple gesture.
