The Bloc armchair, designed by Aldo Bakker for Moustache, is an icon of contemporary design that stands out in space as a monolithic and compact sculpture. Featuring a clearly defined curved backrest and a hollowed-out seat within the volume, it combines rigorous curves and lines with wool upholstery that absorbs light and imparts depth. The exposed seams articulate the internal geometry, while the perception of the object shifts depending on the viewing angle, oscillating between front-facing density and profile abstraction to acquire a completely unique plastic autonomy.
