An ode to speed and perfection, Lalique's McLaren Sailfish sculpture is born from the unique collaboration between Lalique and McLaren, brands that share a passion for excellence and performance. As part of the Essence of Speed collection, this sculpture vividly depicts the high standards of design and engineering that distinguish both brands. McLaren, with its historic racing record, represents the continuous pursuit of speed, the constant refinement of experience and the decisive evolution of the design and engineering of its cars. Similarly, Lalique, a renowned crystal maker, has long been known for finding inspiration in nature, depicting flora, fauna and women in exquisite detail. The bonnet mascots created in the 1920s and 1930s demonstrate undoubted charm and elegance. This sculpture, the Sailfish, is the second of these collectibles after the Cheetah, and is made from Lalique's signature frosted and polished crystal. The McLaren Sailfish sculpture exists in a limited series of 375 examples, a tribute to the P1 McLaren Supercars, recognized for their exceptional technical superiority.
