The unique patterns incorporated into these rugs evoke the swirling currents of a river, a profound symbolism that seeks to capture the natural beauty and serenity of nature. The Uzu rug is not just an imitation of the “Karesansui” style. Miyake skillfully sought to translate the essence of Japanese gardens into a design that was suitable for modern interiors. This result is achieved through the combination of straight lines and circles that express the randomness and free expression of nature. The presence of the Uzu rug in a room creates a relaxing and harmonious atmosphere, adding a unique and elegant touch. Designed by Kazushige Miyake for Blomus.
