The Bodystuhl chair proposed by Nigel Coates is in steam-bent beech, revealing a profile with sinuous shapes characterized by a structure with a variable section.‎ The large seat and ergonomic backrest, made of Vienna straw, refer to shapes and materials by Lehnstuhl, already conceived by the English designer for Wiener GTV Design.‎ Gebrüder Thonet Vienna started producing this type of furniture in 1828, so it knows what it's doing!
